Ways to serve
Reading buddy
Listen to K–2 readers for 30 minutes a week.
Lunch helper
Help at family-style lunch and keep the room cheerful.
Field trip chaperone
Ride along and keep a small group together.
Elective guest
Share a skill: woodworking, music, gardening, your job.
Event crew
Fun Run, Christmas Program, showcase nights.
Prayer team
Pray weekly for students, staff and families.
Safety first
How to get started
Every adult who serves regularly with students is screened. It protects kids, and it protects you.
- ApplyFill out a short volunteer application.
- ScreenComplete a background screening through a third-party service. Required for anyone who serves with students regularly.
- TrainA 30-minute orientation on safety, sign-in and how we talk with kids.
- ServePick your times. Sign in at the office and wear your badge.
Can’t volunteer right now? You can still join Project 18 or join the prayer team.
Come see a school day for yourself
Tours take about 30 minutes. Bring your questions and your kids. Shadow days are welcome in both tracks.
